Farmácias Shee have teamed up with Joaquim Chaves Saúde to create an innovative concept in Portugal, through which they will offer the population four different services in one place: Appointments without an appointment, Nursing Service, Tests (clinical analysis and cardiology tests) and Pharmaceutical Services.
The first unit resulting from this partnership was the clinic on the A5 (Lisbon-Cascais direction, Km 9.6), which is located next to the A5 Oeiras Pharmacy.
For Paulo Cleto Duarte, co-chairman of Shee's Board of Directors, "in Portugal, the National Health System is under great pressure, without the resources and means to respond to users. In the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region in particular, we have over 1 million people without a family doctor. Each of these units has been designed with the aim of providing personalized care to each patient, guaranteeing access to differentiated services and an efficient journey."
"Taking advantage of our experience and the consolidation of our brand, based on the activity of our laboratories and clinics, it makes sense for us to accept the challenge of the Shee brand and invest in a new model, through which people can find, in addition to our services in one place, in an easily accessible area and with all the convenience, the possibility of quickly purchasing medicines after the consultation, in case of need," explains Joaquim José Chaves, chairman of the Board of Directors of Joaquim Chaves Saúde.
As well as opening a clinic right on the highway, the partnership between Farmácias Shee and Joaquim Chaves Saúde has already led to the opening of three more units: one in Sobreda, another in Largo do Rato and another on Av. Dom João V, in TO BE. Clinic by Teresa Branco. In these three units, you will find Pharmaceutical Services and Clinical Analyses.
Very soon, the two health groups will be opening three new units in Xabregas, Alcântara and Corroios.
